Little Star Carrier

This sling is quick and easy-to-use for newborns through 35 lbs. It is extremely comfortable and allows you to wear your baby on the front, side, or back. It also works well for discreetly breastfeeding your baby.

I found the sling to be very convenient when doing those quick in-and-out of the car errands. I simply left it in the car and soon became very adept at taking it on and off quickly. On the most part, it was more convenient than using a stroller or a front carrier, especially as my son got bigger. As my son got older, I could quickly put him on my hip and carry him around while still having both hands free. Plus, my son loved to be carried in the sling and watch everything going on around him. I would often tuck a little toy in the sling for him to play with.

When purchasing the Little Star Sling, you have the choice of regular or organic cotton, both of which come in a variety of colors. The trickiest part of buying and using this sling is getting the sizing right. On the most part, where your baby sits on you is a matter of personal preference; however, in general, the baby is usually worn above the waist. Depending on how much weight you lose after having your baby, you may find that you need more than one size. Luckily, the slings are priced reasonably so it will not take a huge chunk out of your bank account to purchase another one.

I purchased the little star carrier when I was pregant purely because it was organic, I didn't know too much about the sling itself. When I had my baby, it was a life saver. It's easy to put on and easy to transfer a sleeping baby out of it too.

This sling is a great way to carry a new baby, so close to your own body. Also, as my son got older he loved to be carried in the sling on my hip. My only negative comment about the sling is that it took my son 5 or 6 times to get used to it and I almost gave up. But once he did, he loved it.

I also purchased a Little Star Sling while pregnant with great hopes. Unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. Once washed the fabric (denim) became very rough on the inside. Also, even though I fell within the size requirements for a medium I found that the sling was much to large. I was very unhappy with the sling and shortly after my baby was born I bought a Nurtured Cub ring sling and loved it.
